Block Breaker Deluxe 2 for iPhone reduced

Breakout clone re-priced to compete with the original on the App Store

Block Breaker Deluxe 2 for iPhone reduced

We might not agree with Atari's marketing strategy when it came to launching the official iPhone conversion of Super Breakout, but at least it turned out to be one of the more affordable brick blasting games on the App Store.

But no longer. Gameloft's equally flashy one-player-Pong, Block Breaker Deluxe 2, has now been reduced in price to compete with Atari's original.

Free from the constraints of having to provide a faithful conversion of a very old game, Block Breaker Deluxe 2 offers a superb retro experience with some awesome updated visuals and audio, and after landing itself a Pocket Gamer Silver Award in our Block Breaker Deluxe 2 review, it's worth serious consideration if you're in the market for an updated arcade classic.

Now weighing in at only £1.19, it ought to be high on any iPhoner's game list, for that matter – not just retro heads or arcade creepers. Click 'Buy It!' below to check it out.
