Futuristic Wild West-infused brawler Bladeslinger has just kicked open the saloon doors of the Canadian App Store.

This handsome Unity-powered release from Luma Arcade draws its pistol from the same holster as Infinity Blade, delivering a combination of third-person melee, projectile, and magical combat.

Stepping into the beautifully rendered leather boots of William Glaston, you must rid your home town of a fearsome collection of creatures, who appear to have occupied the bodies of your fellow townsfolk.

To give him a supernatural edge, Glaston carries a magical deck of cards, which allows you to cast spells by tracing runic patterns onto the screen.

If you happen to live in Canada, you can participate in the soft launch of Bladeslinger free of charge for "a limited time only".

As soon as Bladeslinger has completed its Canadian tour of duty, we expect it to stride onto global App Stores and onto Android.
