From midnight tonight, you'll be able to hop from planetoid to planetoid as a bushy-bearded astronaut in Qwiboo's new interplanetary platformer, Beyond Gravity.

The game is simple: you stand on spinning planets (their days must last like three seconds) and then tap, with smart timing, to jump to the next one - hopefully picking up some screws, bolts, and cogs along the way.

When you finally leap headfirst into a burning meteorite or hop into the cold expanse of space, you can spend those DIY doodads for power-ups. But you can't trade in real cash: this is a premium game with no in-app purchases.

Beyond Gravity will launch at 69p / 99c, before hopping up to its regular price of £1.49 / $1.99. We've got a review on the way but, until then, check out our PG First Play video above.

Oh, and it's already available on Android for £1.49 / $1.99.
