Word games. They're just a subset of the puzzler genre, aren't they?

In a sense, yes they are. But they're also so much more. Playing with language draws on an extra set of skills to the usual spatial and logical conundrums. It calls on your vocabulary and your spelling skills.

That's why we wanted to make a stand-alone list of a the best word games on iPhone and iPad.

#20 Syllablade
