MouthOff is smiling with Ben 10 branded iPhone app

Quirky iPhone app MouthOff has gone branded with the release of Ben 10 MouthOff.

As with the original release which sold over 40,000 copies, the app features a bunch of animated mouths and sound effects - now from the Ben 10 cartoon series.

The fun of playing with it has you setting up a camera, placing the app in front of your face and then saying stupid stuff and aping along with the animations, and then sending the resulting footage to your mates.

The MouthOff app replicates Ben 10's Omnitrix, which enables him to transform into various aliens forms.

You scroll through the Omnitrix via the touchscreen, selecting the mouths of characters including Ripjaw, Ben Wolf, Stinkfly, Grey Matter, Diamondhead, Four Arms, Wildmutt, Upchuck, Cannonbolt or Ben himself.

The only warning is that while MouthOff works with second generation iPod touches, you will need to have headphones with a built-in microphone so the app can pick up what you're saying.

And the app won't work at all with first generation iPod touches.

It's also currently only available in the UK and European App Stores.
