Continuing the App Store's exciting series of indie debuts is Beglitched, a cutesy and challenging match-3 puzzler set in a world of magical hacking battles.

It might come as little surprise that Beglitched comes from the same developer as the match-3/roguelike hybrid Swap Sword; much like that game, Beglitched also blends the match 3 with other genres, specifically Minesweeper.

Set within the laptop of the infamous "Glitch Witch", you explore the interconnected networks of Beglitched, collecting treasure, buying items, and fighting other hackers in match-3 battles.

Battles combine the logic of Minesweeper, as you use special tiles to pinpoint your foe's hidden location on the grid, with turn-based strategy as you manage energy to maneuver bombs into position.

Enemy hackers won't just wait patiently though; some move around the grid, others remove specific tiles, among other effects that force you to use new tactics.

Beglitched is available for 3.99p / 3.99c on iPad and iPhone; you can also find the game on Steam.
