Konami has just released a brand-new free-to-play music game for the iPhone, which you can download from Apple's US App Store.

The game's called Beat Gather, and it allows you to tap, swipe, and slide your fingers along to the rhythm of your favourite songs, and compete with your buddies on Facebook for high scores.

Beat Gather is compatible with your entire iTunes library, and will automatically create playable music sheets of special YUBIFU notes within seconds.

If you're not happy with the game's job, you can simply select a song and create your very own YUBIFU notes in Edit mode. You can then upload these custom-created music sheets for the game's community to enjoy.

You can download Beat Gather from the US App Store right now for free.
