Astraware Sudoku now on the App Store

Pick it up cheap during October

Astraware Sudoku now on the App Store

There are lots of sudoku games for the iPhone, but Astraware is one the few developers that's picked up an award for its number crunching puzzler.

Its popular nine-figured brain-teaser has now made it to the iPhone, and features a host of unique traits to help ease gamers into the mathematical number arranging classic.

Astraware Sudoku boasts a wide range of assistance functions including smart hints, pencil marks and 'hold-and-highlight' to help beginners. There's also a daily download to keep the gameplay fresh, a puzzle generator and a companion website featuring solving techniques.

If number arranging is your thing, it's probably worth swinging by the App Store before October is out, since Astraware is introducing the game at a special offer price of £1.19 until the end of the month (click 'Buy It! below).

If you're looking for a bit more reassurance before shelling out, here's a gameplay video, and don't forget to hit 'Track It!' for more coverage as it comes in.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
