You already know how to get a few extra blueprints and fill out your garage thanks to our guide on unlocking vehicles, but what if you want the very best cars?

Well that's what we're here for, giving you the lowdown on the kind of dedication you'll need to put in, in order to get the very best, fastest vehicles in the game at your disposal.

It'll require a lot of effort, but we guarantee that a maxed out car will make racing online much, much easier.

What's the difference?

You want to win right? Of course you do, and that's why you want the very best cars in your garage, so you can race with the very best of them.

The higher class cars - A and S class - are faster, fancier, but importantly, more expensive. You probably already know about blueprints from our guide, but getting high level vehicles requires even more preparation.

You can't just jump into Asphalt 9 and get the best cars in the game. Sorry! Here's what you need to do first…

Gonna need a bigger garage

You need to level up your garage. In case you haven't noticed, your garage is actually directly linked to what cars you'll be able to unlock in the game.

Certain car blueprints won’t appear in card packs until you actually level up your garage, meaning you'll have to be putting effort into career mode, events, and multiplayer before you can get the best cars.

Yep, that's right, you need to progress through the game before even investing in card packs is really worth it.

Blueprint hoard

That last tip means you should hold onto your premium currency if you can, so then you can open loads at once, when you finally get full access to all blueprints - because you will need them.

The higher class cars in Asphalt 9 cost a lot, we're talking about 60 blueprints just to unlock them, and you'll be lucky to be able to get three blueprints for any given car from daily events.

Not a surprise really, but that means unlocking those cars will require a lot of effort (or money, ew), even after you have the best garage.

Extra blueprints

But they're not just the best cars once you've unlocked them, oh no, it's just beginning now.

Once you've unlocked the vehicle, you can start claiming blueprints for it all over again in order to raise it's star ranking, from one to three. It'll take a whole load of blueprints each time - this also means you're likely to get duplicate blueprints for cars you already own. Ugh.

On top of that, you need to get parts and cash to upgrade your car's stats too. Being the rarest doesn't mean you quite have the best vehicle, not quite yet, you still need to invest time and money for that.
