Asphalt 9: Legends is one of the fastest and most absorbing racers we've played in ages, and the only thing that can possibly improve such a slick racing experience is - yep, you guessed it - more cars.

Cars from every manufacturer, from every part of the world, with the sickest spoilers, the nicest rims, and most importantly, the ability to smash enemies off the track with sheer ferocity. Mmm, that's the good stuff.

Here we'll go through what you need to keep in mind in order to get more blueprints so you can unlock more cars, go on more races, and in general be the best version of you that you can be. God speed.

Career professional

As you progress through career mode, you will naturally unlock a whole bunch of fancy vehicles for you to ride in style.

You'll naturally get blueprints for completing races, and as bonuses for progressing through the career. There are also additional challenges on some races that you can return to, in order to receive all rewards.

You should be able to clearly see which races offer blueprints, and the number you can receive by racing repeatedly - if possible.

Event races

These limited-time races can offer multiple blueprints for cars you want, and if you're new to event races, there's likely already cars out there you just haven't unlocked yet.

You can run event races multiple times to get extra blueprints - recommended if you want to expand your garage - and you can even get extra bonuses on certain events for running them with certain cars.

You will require tokens to enter event races, but they do refill over time, so just come back daily.

Where can you get blueprints?

Okay, so say there's a specific car you want to aim for, how do you know where to go to unlock those blueprints and add it to your garage?

Well if you go through the cars in garage - the ones you don't have - and take a look at them, you can actually look at where in the game you can go for the blueprints you're missing.

More often than not though, you'll find the answer is to go to the shop and buy card packs. Don't make that your first port of call though, make sure you've made as much career progress as possible and completed event races to open up all of the free options available to you.

Going shopping

And, well, yes, finally there is the store. And there's a premium currency involved. But for obvious reasons, you don't want to throw money at the game, do you?

Not a problem, for the premium currency is obtainable in game, and you can get more than enough to buy a few card packs for blueprints.

You can get the premium currency through quests and missions, most of which will be presented to you at the end of a race, allowing you to immediately redeem your rewards.
