Deck-building card battler Ascension headed to PS Vita

Playdek is bringing their strategic card battler, Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer, to the PS Vita, as detailed in an announcement on the PlayStation blog.

We reviewed the iOS version of Ascension back in 2011, calling it a "clever and tactical game."

The Bronze Award-winning card battler has received several card updates and expansions since its launch.

According to Playdek, the upcoming PS Vita version will have "at least 5 expansions ready to go," a built-in tournament system, and "incredible" AI for single-player matches.

Playdek did not provide a conclusive release date for the PS Vita port, but a representative in the comments gave 2015 as an estimation.
