While The Gardens Between earned best Mac game and Alto's Odyssey earned Apple TV's Game of the Year, Gorogoa and Donut County won top spots on iOS. For iPhone, Donut County offers us a fantastic and entirely unique experience featuring a lot of holes, some perturbed townsfolk, and an adorable raccoon. It's definitely making my personal top games list, for sure.

On iPad, Gorogoa came top of the pile thanks to its intuitive use of puzzle solving and hand-drawn illustration. While this truly is an excellent game - seriously, we gave it a Platinum Award in its review - it did launch late 2017. Saying that, the category is 'Best of 2018' on the basis that the folks at Apple couldn't stop playing them.

What do you guys think? Are Donut County and Gorogoa worthy winners of Apple's Games of the Year? Let us know in those comments below.
