Apple is hosting a "special" one-day Black Friday sale, slashing the prices of a number of its most sought-after products.

If you live in the UK, you can currently snap up a shiny new wi-fi-only iPad 2 for £368, £438, and £508 with free shipping. Add an extra £100 to each price point and you can get your hands on the 3G model. That's a saving of £31, £41, and £51 respectively.

Similarly, the iPod touch is now priced at £154, £224, and £294 for the 8GB, 32GB, and 64GB models, which saves you £15, £25, and £35.

A range of accessories, such as Apple's iPad Smart Cover, are also available at discounted prices.

The other side

If you live over the other side of the pond you can also take advantage of the sale, with $41, $51, and $61 being knocked off the normal cost of the iPad 2.

The 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB models will now set you back $458, $548, and $638 for the wi-fi model, and $588, $678, and $768 for the 3G model.

Finally, you can nab an iPod touch for $178, $268, and $358, which is a saving of $21, $31, and $41.
