At least you're an alien

11 bit studios isn't being shy about the nature of its new game, entitled Anomaly Defenders.

The firm's Platinum Award-winning Anomaly Warzone Earth turned the tower defence template on its head, you see, with its tower offence concept.

Anomaly Defenders isn't quite so. In fact, it's a complete reversal of Anomaly Warzone Earth.

In this forthcoming tower defence game, you'll control the turrets and tech of the aliens on their home planet. And you'll be defending them from pesky humans. In other words, it's like most other TD games out there.

Granted, Anomaly Defenders has the Anomaly series's fetching visuals and chaotic action. As 11 bit itself points out, though, it's the same conflict from a "new perspective".

Hopefully, all of the traditional excitement of the Anomaly games isn't lost in this reversion to tower defence type.

We'll just have to wait and see. Anomaly Defenders should surface on iOS and Android in the near future.

What!!!

This is like totally absurd! T-Offense was the spark that made Anomaly shine.
Completely reversing that well, it's just another TD game then.
