The mushroom hunt

Getting mushrooms is slightly different in this event than it has been in the past. For starters, the goal rewards for crafting furniture won’t reward you with more material to keep crafting with.

Goals will help with mushrooms though - there’s plenty of mushrooms to be earned for completing set amount of requests for villagers, and of course you’ll earn mushrooms as a bonus reward from them too.

One thing to note is that this event has several “rounds” which will feature different types of mushrooms as material, and additional furniture and clothing as the event moves along.

Dressed for success

Here’s something we’ll both agree on; there’s not enough clothing options to craft here. Yes we’ve all wanted to look like Mario, but we need more than that, right?

Well luckily round 2 and round 3 of this event should provide us with more clothing and customisation options for our own little camper, but right now there’s slim pickings.

Here’s the full list of clothing available in the event right now…

  • Big bro’s hat - 20 Super Mushrooms
  • Big bro’s tee - 20 Super Mushrooms
  • Big bro’s mustache - 50 Super Mushrooms

Pixel perfect

The pixel aesthetic is so nice, it’s the kind of aesthetic I would want my house to take on if it weren’t, like, real and stuff. The flat textures would probably be a bit disorientating. But in Animal Crossing? Hell yeah, looks great.

There’s a bunch of furniture to craft and collect in this new event, and there’s due to be more added in the near future. Here’s a full list…

  • Coin - 80 Super Mushrooms
  • Block - 80 Super Mushrooms
  • Green Shell - 120 Super Mushrooms
  • Super Mushrooms - 120 Super Mushrooms (bad trade, right?)

Timed Goals

There’s a bunch of timed goals available relating to this crossover event, and the most precious of those goals has to be the Super Mushroom rewards, which will make crafting furniture way easier.

By completing up to 50 villager requests, you can earn up to 100 extra Super Mushrooms for crafting furniture and clothing.

You can also earn a bunch of Leaf Tickets - up to 90, in fact - by crafting the special items of furniture.

As we’ve mentioned a few times, this event is far from over. Here are the timings of the rounds…
  • Round 1 - 10/03/2018 6am
  • Round 2 - 21/03/2018 6am
  • Round 3 - 31/03/2018 6am

Each round will bring with it fresh furniture and clothing options to craft, in addition to new Mushroom crafting materials to craft with, and hopefully event goals, too.

Everything will be officially unavailable on 10/04/2018 at 6am, so grab it all while you still can.
