Angry Birds Star Wars to be updated with Hoth stages tomorrow
Cold reception
Good news, folks: Rovio's first major content update for Angry Birds Star Wars will be available to download for free at some point tomorrow.
As many of you probably already know, this update will give you access to new stages set on Hoth - the icy planet that was invaded by the Galactic Empire in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back.
We presume these levels will be packed with items and obstacles from George Lucas's 1980 movie. So, yep, we're expecting AT-AT Walkers and, well, tons of snow.
Rovio is also going to introduce a new bird in this update. Her name is Leia, and she's a Pink Bird that boasts a special power called "GFD Device". We're not 100 per cent sure what this is, but we suspect it may involve a tractor beam.
We're not going to be shocked if a new Gold Droid level gets added to the Angry Birds Star Wars mix via this new update, too.
You can download Angry Birds Star Wars for your iPhone for 69p / 99c [buy], and for your iPad for £1.99 / $2.99 [buy]. You can grab it from Google Play for free [download].
