Our first task today was to finish playing every PlayStation Mobile launch game. The things we do for you, our dear readers. We also played the paid DLC for New Super Mario Bros 2.

Elsewhere, we got the first details on Call of Duty: Black Ops - Declassified's multiplayer mode, received an update for Where's My Perry?, saw Microsoft release a game on iOS, and wept at the thought of Noby Noby Boy being delisted from the App Store.

Here are the stories we couldn't fit in today...

New releases

Gaijin Entertainment - of Modern Conflict and Braveheart fame - has launched a new game on iOS. Fantasy Conflict is a real-time strategy game with castles, wooden ballistic missiles, airships, magic spells, and crystals. It looks ab fab. Plus, there are versions for both iPhone and iPad.

The next game from League of Evil developer Ravenous Games is side-scrolling brawler Beatdown. It's got a cartoony vibe, though those punches (see above) look like they'd really hurt. Told ya.

Capcom's next smartphone social game will answer the question, 'Who'd win in a fight between Mega Man and Phoenix Wright?' This Japanese-only card game is being made by GREE, and is out on October 25th.

Gameloft has launched an official website for iOS and Android shooty shooty bang bang epic Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour. Right now on this micro-site, you'll find some info on the game's maps and weapons. Gameloft does plan to add forums, tournaments, leaderboards, and sneak peeks into the development process to the website in time, mind.

Gory old skool manslaughter sim Carmageddon has been submitted to Apple and should be available on iOS from next week, Stainless Games told Joystiq. The Android version won't be around until later this year, or maybe early next.

The next game from Pocket Heroes developer F5 is House of the Lost. It's an iPad-only horror roguelike where you explore a randomised haunted house. You can also craft items, solve puzzles, and beat up monsters.

Big updates

Rebuild, the zombie fort simulator from Sarah Northway, now features seasons, thanks to an update on iOS. In winter, for example, the city is blanketed in snow and farms can no longer produce food. There are also new events and endings to discover.
