iOS + Android + 3DS ...

We can't cover everything on Pocket Gamer. Not every app deserves its own news story, anyway, and not every update is a front-page news item.

So, meet "And the rest": a daily round-up of everything that your selective (or perhaps just plain picky) deputy editor decided wasn't quite worth the (virtual) ink.

New releases

Vita owners can grab a free Treasure Park app from the PlayStation Store. This utility lets you design grid-based puzzles and send them to your pals. You can also use Near to find and download nearby brainteasers.

Not convinced by our Silver Award review for Illusion Labs's Blast-A-Way? Try it yourself with a free Lite edition that launched today. You get 20 of the game's 80 levels for nothing.

Voyager, from Oh My! Me Studios, is a stop motion animation game made entirely out of needle-felted wool. In the game, you'll tilt your iOS device to dodge planes, satellites, asteroids, and planets, as your wooly spaceship zips through the cosmos.

atr-galaga

Namco has dumped XBLA remake Galaga Legions DX on Windows Phone. It costs £5.49 / $6.99, but check out the comments before you drop your cash - it sounds like the controls kinda suck.

HueBrix is a colourful new puzzler for iOS and Android, and it looks rather posh. Super Stickman Golf creator Noodlecake is on publishing duties for the Android version.

Picross-e is now available to download from the Nintendo 3DS eShop. It costs £4.50. I had a quick go, and - hey - it's Picross on your 3DS. What more do you want?

On the horizon

Want more levels for 3DS platformer Mutant Mudds? Renegade Kid says that it "is totally going to happen", and reveals that the 20 new Grannie levels from the PC version will land on the eShop as a free update.

Paradox's PC strategy epic Hearts of Iron is coming to iOS and Android later this year, according to Pocket Tactics. It's called Hearts of Iron Mobile, and HeroCraft is helping out with development.

atr-deadrising

Capcom and GREE are teaming up for six new social games on iOS and Android. We'll get three in the West: Resident Evil Vs., Dead Rising: The Survival, and Monster Hunter: Massive Hunting. (Cheers, Famitsu.)

Mercenary Kings, a pixellated PC blaster from the team behind Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game, is also heading to the Android-powered Ouya console. Kickstarter backers who pledge $15 or more will get the Ouya version for free.

Next week's Virtual Console game on the European 3DS eShop is the black sheep of the Zelda franchise: Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link. Find out why this side-scrolling oddity has been so reviled. For £4.50.

Sales

In the US, Vita and PSP gamers can pick up a bundle of indie PS minis - including Wizorb, Canabalt, Enigmo, Galcon Labs, and BreakQuest - for $6.99.

Kickstart this atr-pinball

Metroid Prime Pinball developer Silverball Studios wants to resurrect the Pro Pinball series on iPhone and iPad. It just needs $400,000 on Kickstarter to do it. Insert coin, why don'tcha?

What do you get if you combine American football with a side-scrolling brawler and an RPG? Football Heroes for iOS and Android, apparently. Run Games in Los Angeles wants just $12,000 to make it a reality.
