Ammo Pigs is a decidedly old school shooter. It's not just retro in looks, it's got a streak of 16bit cruelty running through its bones that might shock today's more pampered players.
You take control of a pig on a mission. Everything is controlled with on-screen buttons, and they work reasonably well. Jumping, shooting, and jump-shooting all happen when you tell them to.
There are drips of acid, stomping bad guys, and glowing energy gates to contend with. It certainly follows a formula, and it does it pretty well.
If you're looking for a platforming shooter with a mean streak that was born in the '90s, then you could do a lot worse than check this out.
