This week the App Army got to grips with Akihabara - feel the Rhythm, a rhythm based match-3 puzzler.

I'm trying to like this game, but it's just not happening. It doesn't feel well made and the gameplay doesn't feel tailoured to each song. I am a big fan of rhythm games, but I can't get into this one.

The match three element gets boring fast and other than the colour scheme nothing else is borrowed from Lumines, which should be a good thing but somehow isn't. I would struggle to recommend this if it was free, but for $3.00 it's not good value for money.

To sum this game up in one word, I would say it's boring. The gameplay is overcomplicated for no reason which makes it even harder to like this game. The music is no good and I really can't think of any redeeming points - very disappointing.

I have to agree with Kainen - I can't seem to like this no matter what I do. I like to give all games a chance but this one had nothing to make me come back and try again.

As much as I try, I couldn't get to grips with this game. The music isn't bad but the Tetris inspired parts just didn't work with the rest of the game. By the twentieth go, I had lost all interest and had no reason to try again.

I think the idea is solid, but the game needs some tweaks to be enjoyable, but it's not there as it is.
