iPhone's Age of Curling launches Norwegian pants competition
Spot the kecks, pick the next curling venue
It never fails to surprise where the next internet meme comes from, and although they'd probably rather be remembered for winning gold medals, the Norwegian curling team have created quite an online stir thanks to their outrageous trousers.
Blackish Games is evidently enamoured by these harlequin-esque trolleys, described by King Harald V as "the coolest pants I've ever seen", and is preparing to launch a new trousers-based competition for its iPhone sporting title Age of Curling.
"We've hidden some of these stylish pants in the next update of Age of Curling," explains Blackish Games's Markus Hofer. "The first one to spot them and send us a screenshot wins the privilege of choosing the next venue we'll put into the game."
This virtual curling venue can be anything from an oil-rig off the cost of Norway to a futuristic stadium in 24th century Japan or simply your local curling club. You need to keep it clean and copyright free, but otherwise your choice of location is completely open.
The competition kicks off when the 1.5.5 update of Age of Curling hits the App Store, so get ready to take a screenshot of the Norwegian trousers and send it to [email protected].
