A Mortician's Tale is a game that will change the way you look at death, and it's coming to iOS

Death, they say, is the great equalizer, but it’s still a topic that’s rarely broached in games in a serious manner. A Mortician’s Tale has sought to change that, and has been heralded as one of the great indie games of 2017. Now, A Mortician’s Tale is getting a chance to shine on iOS.

Laundry Bear Games announced today that A Mortician’s Tale will be coming to iPhone and iPad later this month. This narrative adventure game puts you in charge of a funeral home. You’ll embalm or cremate the deceased, attend funerals, and learn more about the families that are left behind in the wake of death.

Rather than dwelling on the dark side of things, A Mortician’s Tale is a frank, and sometimes even humorous, portrait of the death industry and the ways we deal with our own mortality.

A Mortician’s Tale arrives on the App Store on November 22. Pre-orders are now open, and early birds will receive a 33% discount.
