You can’t really call yourself an internet nerd - and who wouldn’t want to? - if you don’t spend time on the comedy website Something Awful. Its daily front page news items, while not as consistent as they once were, are occasionally genius.

Under the heading ‘This Month’s Least Downloaded iPhone apps’ are such gems as Public Bathroom Phone Number Organizer, a ‘social networking’ tool from Infinitum Labs; and Shakespeare Portrait Labeler, a tool that automatically places the words ‘William Shakespeare’ across pictures of The Bard.
