White iPhone available by spring?

The fabled white iPhone may be with us by spring next year.
There's been a wealth of speculation and rumour surrounding the device, with Apple devotees around the world craning their necks to spot one of the few units out there.
According to signs going up in US Apple Stores, though, the wait could finally be over. The signs, as pictured above, clearly state that albino iPhones will be on sale from spring 2011.
Quite what this means for the rest of the world is uncertain, but we'd be surprised if global availability didn't follow on from the US launch.
Either way, it means that the fervoured hunt for signs of this technological Sasquatch will finally be over.
Which is a relief.
