Android 2.2 'Froyo' running on iPhone 3G
|

Ah, Android running on iPhone, the dream combination for agnostic gadget freaks and filthy interracial device deviants. The Romeo and Juliet-like love story of Apple's slender curves interacting with Google's open source OS is a feel good summer romcom waiting to happen.

And now it's one step closer to reality with the latest Android firmware, 2.2, running on the iPhone 3G. Sure, we've already shown you this smutty love-in before, but that was Android 1.6. This is the real deal, Google's latest and greatest running on Apple's... well, not quite latest and greatest. 3GS is currently unsupported.

Not that the relatively ancient 3G is particularly capable of running the thing anyway. The video hardly makes the most alluring recommendation: it takes over three minutes to boot up, you'll get no wi-fi, no audio, it's sluggish, and after five minutes the processor will have kicked into overdrive and your iPhone will get hot to the touch.

Maybe just stick with watching the video, then.

If you do decide to click through to the website, download all the dodgy files and then suddenly find your iPhone catching on fire and exploding, we hold no responsibility.
