WiFiSync app syncs your iPhone to your PC wirelessly
Everything but the kitchen sync
One smart developer is testing Apple's app submission boundaries with WiFiSync, an app that lets you sync your iPhone or iPod touch to your Mac or PC without a cable or docking station.
"For the first time ever, sync your device with iTunes over a wireless network", the creator writes. It's functionality that devices like the Android and Zune already feature, but the iPhone must be connected physically to transfer data.
The video shows the app working perfectly, with iTunes detecting and syncing with an iPhone that's only connected to the computer through wi-fi.
The app will be submitted to Apple soon, but there's a tremendous chance that the smartphone overlords will reject it.
