Steve Jobs on the mend

Hospital reports he has an 'excellent prognosis'

Steve Jobs on the mend

Just a quick nod toward Apple founder Steve Jobs, who it was revealed on Tuesday evening underwent a liver translplant at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

A statement was issued by Dr James D. Eason, who assured the media that Jobs was subject to the same testing procedure as all other patients on the transplant list, before saying he is "recovering well and has an excellent prognosis."

Jobs has been on medical leave from Apple for over six months now, but Apple spokesman Steve Dowling insists he is still planning on returning to Apple at the end of June.

Despite the huge amount of secrecy around Jobs's health issues, which Apple has received criticism over due to its tight-lipped policies, his position within the company has had a notable effect on share prices in the past, so his expected recovery should have a similar, more positive effect.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
