Unlocked iPhone 4S now available on Apple's US website for $649, $749, and $849
Not compatible with CDMA networks
If you live in America and you've been holding off on grabbing the iPhone 4S because you don't want to be tied to a lengthy contract, you'll be pleased to read that you can now pick-up an unlocked version of Apple's latest gadget from its US website.
Apple is offering the iPhone 4S in both white and black, and in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB varieties. These will set you back $649, $749, and $849 respectively.
Unfortunately, the unlocked iPhone 4S is only compatible with GSM networks like AT&T and a range of international carriers. CDMA networks such as Verizon and Sprint aren't supported.
The 4S is still available without a contract from Apple's UK website - as it has been from launch - for the small fee of £499, £599, or £699.
