Apple's iPhone 4S now available to pre-order

If you're due a phone upgrade and you're not an Android fanboy, you'll be pleased to read that Apple's latest iPhone iteration can now be pre-ordered from a number of different websites.

These, of course, include Apple.com, where a brand-new iPhone 4S will set you back at least £499 in the UK, and $199 with a two-year contract in the US.

You can also pre-order from a range of UK vendors, such as T-Mobile, which is offering a 16GB 4S completely free of charge, providing you sign-up to a £45.96 a month two-year contact.

Either way, when the phone hits your doorstep it'll be packing a dual-core A5 processor, a new and improved 8MP camera, a handy voice assistant who goes by the name of Siri, and Apple's new iOS 5.

The iPhone 4S will hit shelves on October 14th.
