Alleged iPhone 4G images leaked

Whilst rumours pertaining to Apple’s next handset have been flying around liberally (see our roundup), there haven’t been the usual litany of questionable images claiming to be insider shots.
Until now. The three shots in the gallery were sent to MacRumours by an unspecified correspondent who claims them to be images of the new 4G casing, sans innards.
The visible text on the back of the casing states that it's for a 64 GB model, and includes Apple’s standard “Designed by etc.” line. The second line, which would contain Model Number, FCC ID and IC ID is illegible.
Cutouts reside in all the places they do on the current iPhone to accommodate connections and buttons. Interestingly, though, the design sports a more angular aesthetic, with creases along the back, and a harsh edge around the whole thing which looks like it would be decidedly uncomfortable to hold.
Cheaper to mock up than a curvy fake? Perhaps, but whatever you think of these images, bear in mind that that examination of their Meta Data yields Photoshop CS4 history.
