If you’re a massive fan of mobile games, it’s likely that you’ll have come across the name Webzen at least once or twice. Having enjoyed its own fair share of success with the MU series and First Hero, one of the acclaimed developer's subsidiaries just recently set up a new studio in Appimigos; a sub-brand dedicated to publishing more encompassing, light-hearted free-to-play mobile games.

The studio is already off to a promising start, with the release of two simple but entertaining titles in Space Girl Across the Universe and Jigsaw Puzzle Amigos, with many other exciting apps set to come. The ethos behind Appimigos is to create games with eye-catching visuals and gameplay concepts that are easy to learn, but tricky to master.

Space Girl Across the Universe certainly embodies this philosophy, as a runner that tasks players to traverse a series of increasingly difficult tracks while smashing through as many coloured blocks as possible. The beauty of this is that it can all unfold using one-handed controls.

Jigsaw Puzzle Amigos also leans into this more casual school of thought, very much stripping back the concept of a puzzle game to its core. There are eight puzzle categories in total, ranging from Famous Paintings, Animals, Food, Sports, Science and more. Once complete, each are fully viewable in a high-resolution virtual frame.

With this in mind, don’t be too surprised should you see the new Appimigos name popping up the next time you load up a new light and bright game.

You can find Space Girl Across the Universe available to download for iOS and Android now alongside Jigsaw Puzzle Amigos which you can also find on the App Store and Google Play.
