UK Apple Stores opening early on iPad launch day

If you haven't pre-ordered the iPad yet, but suddenly had a moment of epiphany and decided you need to get the shiny new tablet as soon as it goes on sale, you'd better get your butt to an Apple Store.

Ordering online is definitely no use. All the first stock has been gobbled up, meaning you won't get any new iPad orders until June. The Apple Stores around the country, however, will be packed to bursting with the company's new product, and will be opening early to boot.

In an email to its devoted customers, Apple says that the store will be open at 8am on the 28th, instead of the usual 9am. That will certainly help out the faithful Apple followers queuing up from the wee hours.

You'll also get an opportunity to "have one of our Specialists show you all the amazing things it can do," and "help you get set up and running.” We bet you're glad you didn't order online, now.

The Apple iPad launches in the UK on May 28th. Apple has shipped out the devices to early ordering customers, but they'll likely be held by the delivery companies until the tablet's grand unveiling this Friday.
