Your dilly-dallying cost you a week

Don't worry if you've already made your order and promised Apple over £400 of your hard earned cash (and your first born child). Your iPad will still make it by May 28.

But if you order one today, you'll have to wait until June 7 for the tablet to arrive.

Apple's first preorder supply has been exhausted, and the company can't promise additional stock until more than a week later.

Pocket-Lint spoke to an Apple spokesperson who said that Apple will have some stock in stores for May 28, but couldn't reveal how many each store would be getting.

If you were planning on waltzing in to your local Apple-Mart at 12am, you might want to rethink your plans.

And hopping on an Easy Jet to America won't ease your delay-pains either. Apple is citing a 7 to 10 day waiting period for all models across the Atlantic too, and some stores are having to turn people away empty handed.

The iPad has already sold over 1 million units since its launch in the US. We've got some, they're pretty cool.
