Vodafone, 02, Orange announce iPad price plans
|

Following the recent announcement that the iPad’s European launch will be delayed, Vodafone has confirmed that it will be offering dedicated price plans for the tablet from the end of May.

Within a very short time, both O2 and Orange issued statements to the same effect, confirming that all three providers will carry the device.

The upshot of these confirmations is that you should be able to get your hands on 3G models at the same time as the wi-fi only ones, and enjoy mobile internet just as you would on your iPhone.

No indication has yet been made about price, nor whether any of the providers will offer device subsidies in the manner of the current mobile phone commercial model.

Either way, it looks like this summer’s tan lines will be a white rectangle in the lap area.

The iPad will be available to pre-order in the UK from 10th May.
