The day after the iPad launched in the US we learned that it had been jailbroken, and the day after that the first emulator arrived.

It comes, somewhat inevitably, from the laboratory of jailbreaking and homebrew superstar ZodTTD, and it's not actually a new emulator but rather the already-extant snes4iphone running on an iPad.

The exciting thing about this demonstration is that the build ZodTTD installed was made “specifically for non-jailbroken iDevices.” The video shows the game running at 2x scale on the iPad and smooth scaling on the emulator.

ZodTTD has also created emulators for N64 and PlayStation on iPhone.
