iPad games arrive early on the App Store
Stock up early
Aside from a few reviewers, nobody's going to get hold of an iPad until the 3rd April, the Apple's new wonder-device officially launches. But if you're waiting for your device what you can do is kill a bit of time by browsing the App Store and seeing what you might like to buy come Saturday.
That's right – iPad games are now showing up on iTunes, though the list doesn't appear to be fully populated yet. We Rule is there, as is Civilization Revolution (for £7.49), Real Racing HD (£5.99), Dungeon Hunter HD (a mere £3.99), and, well, hundreds upon hundreds of other apps and games.
Apps have been showing for a couple of days on AppShopper.com, but it hasn't been possible to buy them through that site – clicking on the 'buy' link just brings up a message stating that apps aren't available till the 3rd.
However, now that iPad apps are on iTunes you can download them, and to prove it I've made my first purchase – Doodle UFO, which was just 59p.
Now I just need an iPad to play it on.
