This Friday, Apple Stores across the country will open their doors early and customers will stream in to buy iPads and accessories. It's going to be wild.

Those of you who intend to buy 3G models so that you can surf the internet currently have four operators to choose from: Vodafone, O2, Orange, and Three. But which is best?

We've checked the respective operator sites and put the information in a handy table for comparison.

At the moment it looks like Three is offering the best deal, with its 10GB monthly tariff costing a whopping £10 less than Orange's (though without offering, as Orange does, unlimited access to BT Openzone wi-fi.)

At £25 for a 10GB monthly tariff with no Cloud access, Vodafone looks like the worst deal, but it all depends on what you're looking for. Use the table below to help you decide.

Prices are monthly unless otherwise indicated.

Vodafone O2* Three Orange**
200MB £2 (per day)
500MB £2 (per day)
1GB £10 £10 £7.50 £7.50 (per week)
3GB £15 £15 £15
5GB £25
10GB £15 £25

*all tariffs include BT Openzone access
**monthly tariffs include BT Openzone access
