Some of you may not know this, but when Apple released the new iPad, it also released a revised iPad 2 (the iPad 2,4) packing a 32nm A5 processor.

The tablet's chip is the only real change to the product, but tests carried out by AnandTech show that the new processor provides the 'new' iPad 2 with more than 1.6 additional hours of web browsing.

The new processor also provides around three extra hours of juice during intensive graphics and 3D video tests.

According to AnandTech, most Apple Stores still stock the older iPad 2, which houses a 45nm A5 processor. The 32nm A5 is the most efficient processor that Apple makes.
