[Update] The best iPhone and iPad games with iOS 7 / MFi controller support

Time for a thumb war (Updated with loads of extra games)

Product: iOS controllers | Manufacturer: Apple

Updated on December 11th, at 15:10: We've updated the list once again, this time adding Tomb Raider II, Skylanders Trap Team, Valiant Hearts: The Great War, Wayward Souls, Turbo Dismount, Warhammer 40,000: Carnage, Worms 3, Dead Trigger, BioShock, and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath.

Plus, Mikey Boots, Bean Dreams, Joe Danger Infinity. Ridge Racer Slipstream, Rush Horizon, Table Top Racing, Inferno 2, Hyper Trip, Crossy Road, Woah Dave!, Metal Slug, Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug X, Ms. Pac-Man, Namco Arcade, Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy VI, NHL 2K, and Samurai Shodown II.

So you've got yourself an MFi controller. Or you're thinking about buying one. Either way, you need to know what games actually work with the darn thing.

We've put together a list of games you should check out with your new joypad. It's not an exhaustive list but, like everything at Pocket Gamer, it's been heavily curated so it only contains the best games.

Some of these might require the extended controller, which has analogue sticks and more shoulder buttons. Check the individual App Store descriptions for more information on all that.
