Will it be da bomb?

French start-up Godzilab had one of the best reviewed iPhone games of 2009 with its quirky bomb-based puzzler iBlast Moki.

It looked amazing but perhaps suffered a little from being crammed onto a relative small screen. In that respect then, it's a perfect candidate for up rezzing to iPad, which is what has just been announced.

Indeed, Godzilab's Thomas Lachartre has also been vocal in his thoughts about the hardware within the iPad, although the exact silicon breakdown is yet to be announced.

Still, alongside Secret Exit's Zen Bound - another critically acclaimed game that failed to make much commercial impact and is coming to iPad (in the shape of its sequel) - we're hoping that it will be second time lucky for one of the shining examples of indie iPhone development.

Hey, maybe Apple could even give these guys a bit of a launch marketing push? Would make a change from the likes of N.O.V.A. and Need for Speed.

Here's what a mock up screen of iBlast Moki HD looks like;
