Kickstart this: Wild Season is a Harvest Moon-inspired farming sim, and much more

The lack of Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing games on mobile seems to be inspiring developers to fill the gaps.

Just a couple of days ago we brought you news of Castaway Paradise, which the developer describes as "basically Animal Crossing meets Harvest Moon."

And today we have news of Wild Season, which seems to be Harvest Moon in all but name.

Currently on Kickstarter, Wild Season is a farming sim that has you taking over a farm that needs repairing and expanding.

You'll be able to grow crops, raise animals, find a lover, and get married. Becoming part of the local town council enables you to make important decisions for the community, too.

One of the game's multiple storylines also involves you discovering the town's dark secret, and "why it will cause worlds to collide".

As you can tell, Wild Season is as much about building up relationships and becoming part of a community, as much as it is about farming.

Quickfire Games says its plan is to bring Wild Season to Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android. That's all providing the game's development is funded, mind.
