Bronze Award-winning Space Marine hacky slashy stompy game Warhammer 40,000: Carnage has had its price cut for the first time. That means you can grab the surprisingly fun Ork masher for just £1.49 / $1.99 on iOS and Android.

The game sees you ploughing through a series of xenos-filled levels, swinging about your Space Marine weapons and generally turning every living thing you come across into a splodge of gore.

While the fighting is fun, the real heart of the experience comes from tweaking your Marine's armour and equipment. There's a huge amount to choose from, and picking which bits to wear makes for some surprisingly strategic character building.

At review we said "you might be surprised where the actual meat of the game lies, but Warhammer 40,000: Carnage is a well put together, entertaining diversion."

And now you can get that entertaining diversion for a lot cheaper than usual. You can grab it from the App Store for £1.49 / $1.99 [buy] and from the Google Play Store for the same price [buy].
