How to make famous people with WWE 2K's 'create a wrestler' mode

| WWE 2K

WWE 2K is out right now on iOS and Android, and we all know what that means - hideously inaccurate recreations of famous people!

Well, that's what it means to us here at Pocket Gamer.

You'll need to unlock some new trousers and what not to make some of these by fighting through career mode, and to be honest it's probably not actually worth it, which is why I've done it for you.

Just remember to squint when you're looking at the creations, and remember that there's nothing more powerful than the human imagination!

Oh, and feel free to add your own abominations in the comments at the bottom too.

Mario and Luigi

You can't actually put hats on your wrestlers in WWE 2K, but that's not going to stop me from creating Nintendo's best loved brothers.

Make Luigi tall and thin and Mario short and fat. Go for a pompadour hairstyle and a moustache. Then just add Street Pattern 1 for Mario and Street Pattern 2 for Luigi. It's uncanny! Honest!

Steven Segal

Now it's time to make everyone's favourite fat action star / blues man / I think he was in a reality show about being a policeman as well? - Steven Segal.

Go tall, go fat, add long black hair and a black goatee. Then dress him up in Riot Pattern 2. Now who's On Deadly Ground? Or Under Siege? You are. Yes, you.

Big Daddy

Who wouldn't want to play as legendary UK grappler Shirley Crabtree, aka Big Daddy? I'm amazed he isn't already in the game to be honest.

Anyway, it's tall and fat again, but no hair or facial hair. Then dress him up in a Singlet and go for Pattern 2, because black and white is retro, right?

The Ultimate Warrior

Why isn't Ultimate Warrior in this game? He's the Ultimate Warrior, so even if you beat everyone here you're not the best, you're at most second best.

There's no face painting option unfortunately, so just imagine that bit of the get-up. Tall, muscular, long brown hair, and Tassel Pattern 2.

OMG, it's literally a carbon copy of the Ultimate Warrior. Literally.

Ken and Ryu

Street Fighting! That's like wrestling but with more fireballs and dragon punches and spinning kick things. Here's how you can put Ken and Ryu into WWE 2K. No fireballs though, because that would be unfair.

You want to make a tall, muscular man with long hair. Go blonde for Ken and black or red for Ryu. Then put Ken in Karate Pattern 2 and Ryu in Karate Pattern 1. Hadouken!

Barry Burton

That's right, Barry Burton from the Resident Evil games. Sort of, a bit, I guess. I mean, he's ginger and he's got a beard, so that's basically right?

Make a fat, tall wrestler. Give it a goatee and a pompadour in finest red. Then stick it in Riot Pattern 1.

Wow! Barry, how you doing? You look a lot like Steven...

John Doe

Yup, I'm really making the serial killer from David Fincher's seminal gritty crime misery flick Seven. Because I've run out of ideas.

You want a short, skinny, bald wrestler with no facial hair. Dress it up in Street Pattern 1, and imagine that the bandages are to cover up where he cut his own fingerprints off.

What's in the box? You are. If the box was a wrestling ring.

Glen Fox

Last but not least, it's Pocket Gamer's own Glen Fox, dressed up for a night on the town in his bestest spangly outfit. Go Glen, do a suplex.

To make Glen you need a tall, thin wrestler with a fohawk. Then just dress him up in tassel Pattern 1 and hey-presto, it's Glen on your iPad or iPhone or whatever. Go get 'em Glen.

I hope Glen doesn't read this.

Harry Slater
Harry Slater
Harry used to be really good at Snake on the Nokia 5110. Apparently though, digital snake wrangling isn't a proper job, so now he writes words about games instead.
