Award-winning indie platformer Vanessa Saint-Pierre Delacroix & Her Nightmare arrives on iOS

Publisher Replay Games, the team responsible for the upcoming reboot of the Leisure Suit Larry franchise, has brought award-winning indie hit Vanessa Saint-Pierre Delacroix & Her Nightmare to Apple's App Store.

In case you aren't familiar with the title, the unique 2D puzzle-platformer takes place entirely on the surface of a large 3D cube, which you have to twist, turn, and rotate in order to help protagonist Vanessa collect items and find her way back home.

If any of that sounds confusing, simply check out the video below this article.

Vanessa Saint-Pierre Delacroix & Her Nightmare has won various awards since it was first released, including the 'Best Design' award at IndiePub's Independent Game Challenge.

You can grab Vanessa Saint-Pierre Delacroix & Her Nightmare from the App Store right now for your iPhone for 69p / 99c [buy] and for your iPad for £1.49 / $1.99 [buy].

Android will also be getting a slice of the action some time this month when the app arrives on the Amazon Appstore. After a 30-day period of exclusivity, Vanessa Saint-Pierre Delacroix & Her Nightmare will make its way to the Android Market.

“All too often developers and publishers will release a game on the Android Marketplace and watch their sales stay close to nil” Paul Trowe, Replay Games CEO, said.

“We have decided to take a different approach. By utilizing the Amazon curated AppStore we are getting a much higher profile through their suggestion and decision engine to help promote our games."
