It's been a little while since we last covered the upcoming iPad port of Tropico, but Feral Interactive's just brought more details to light.

Though the overlay feature isn't a new thing to the game, there's more to it now on its iPad version. Just to sum up quickly, the overlay feature lets you toggle colour-coded panels so you can keep an eye on how your island's doing overall.

The newest features added to the overlay are transport, religion, health care, food production, food consumption, entertainment, and education. As you see above, these are all show in red, yellow, and green areas with red being the poorest result and green being the best.

If you've no idea what I'm banging on about, Tropico is an upcoming dictator-seated city builder where you play as El Presidente, the leader of Tropico island. In it, you need to manage your island's economy as well as its political factions and social demands.

We're still not sure on when to expect its iPad launch, but we'll keep you updated as always.
