Mysterious story-driven game Transmigration: Into Darkness Peering might be heading to tablets

Some games capture my heart so completely that I can't help but bug the developer about a mobile or handheld version.

Transhuman Design's Transmigration: Into Darkness Peering is one of those games.

Seriously, just take a look at its website and you'll see what I mean.

Transhuman Design took the virtual wrap off Transmigration: Into Darkness Peering earlier this week. It only took me a matter or minutes to get in contact with the team.

Studio director Michal Marcinkowski soon got back to me with the answer I wanted to hear.

"Transmigration: Into Darkness Peering is made in Unity, so a port would be easy. Furthermore, it is designed to look good and work on tablets. So, if time allows us, we'll do a phone / tablet release," Marcinkowski said.

Now we have a reason to be interested in Transmigration: Into Darkness Peering, let's find out what it's all about.

But not before checking out the ambient trailer for it below.

Hmm, there aren't actually that many details about the game available. We do know, though, that it follows a man called Joseph who is wheelchair bound and works for a corporation.

The mystery starts with Joseph not remembering what the company even does any more. It's suggested that Joseph starts visiting the "Transmigration Clinic". Which could mean his soul is transported into another body, perhaps.

Transmigration: Into Darkness Peering is a story-driven experience with lots of rain. There isn't any combat here, but there may be some puzzles. We just don't know.

Transhuman Design will release Transmigration: Into Darkness Peering episodically, with the first episode out on PC soon enough. Hopefully, tablet versions aren't too far behind...
