DeNA has just released its free-to-play Michael Bay movie tie-in mobile game Transformers: Age of Extinction on to iOS.

In this combat runner you get to play as the Autobots as they smash and dash through destructive levels.

You also have to transform between robot and vehicle forms as you run through the levels. That includes Bumblebee's sports car and, most distinctly, Grimlock's robot dinosaur form.

To take on the increasingly tough waves of Decepticons you'll need to customise your Autobots with weapon and tech upgrades.

I'll give you three guesses as to where the IAPs come into play. Nah, they're found in these upgrades, of course.

The game is available now on the App Store for free. The Android version will be along shortly.
