Downwell-inspired Tower Fortress arrives on iOS and Android this week
Wait's almost over
Oh, it feels so, so sweet to finally know that Tower Fortress is coming to mobile later this week.
First covered last August, Tower Fortress is an action platformer with gameplay elements heavily inspired by classic titles like Downwell, Metroid, Contra, and partly-inspired by Nuclear Throne as keybol says on their Twitter. Our next game #TowerFortress by the very talented @keybol will be hitting next week! You've got to get from the bottom of the tower to the top, all while battling hideous monsters, traversing challenging obstacles, and randomised levels, so don't get too comfortable with the layout. There are 16 different enemy types, four different areas of the tower, nine gun upgrades, 25 character upgrades, boss fights, permadeath, and - I'm out of breath. Phew.
Tower Fortress will most likely arrive on iOS and Android this Thursday, November 16th. We'll let you know when it drops.
