Fans of rolling around on a plank of wood and using some sort of New Age magic to make it fly up in the air: rejoice!

Touchgrind Skate 2 is out on the New Zealand App Store right now, which means it should be landing in the UK and US at midnight tonight.

The skateboarding sequel is all about tricking your way through a series of different parks, using your fingers to perform a variety of stylish flips and tricks.

Or if you're anything like I am, you'll be using your fingers to repeatedly smash into a wall and somehow manage to bend one of your knuckles nastily and end up with a finger cast on for six months.

There are three huge skateparks in which to play in Touchgrind Skate 2. In the tutorial mode, you are walked through the tricks and spins you're going to need to finish the big list of challenges that make up the core of the game.

You can also play against your friends in the classic pass-the-pad "S-K-A-T-E" mode, or just mooch around pulling off tricks without the pressure of completing things.

Plus, you can create and export videos of your amazing runs / catastrophic failures. The failures are more likely, in truth.

Touchgrind Skate 2 is pretty tough to get the hang of, but there's a wealth of content here for those willing to work out which way they should be flicking their digits.

The game should surface on the UK and US App Stores at midnight tonight, and will set you back £2.99 / $4.99.
