If you've ever wanted to try out drift racing, here's your chance with Torque Drift, coming this year from Grease Monkey Games.
The game will pit you in tandem battles against players in a similar rank, racing first in a lead run, then a second time in a chase run, where you'll have to beat your opponent's lead run, and points will be awarded for drifting skills.
Be careful, though, as too many risks or fancy moves will damage your customizable car. The game seeks to lean heavily on the realism, featuring real-world drivers, teams, tracks, and physics.
It's a tall order to fill, but if the game gets the physics down, there's plenty of potential here for a solid racing game. We'll update as we hear more about the official release date, or any other information.
